Show up and be present. This is your time. You are investing in yourself! And you are MORE than worth it. When you get here be present. You can check your phone later – this hour is yours! Cheer, clap and encourage others. If you are not present you will cheat yourself out of the experience and rob others of the gift of your presence and support as part of the community.
Make an Effort
Effort is more important than any other attribute. Don’t be embarrassed or ashamed if you can’t lift as much or perform as well as other members. It doesn’t matter so long as you give your best each and every workout. No one is judging you. The owners meet with every single person before they are allowed anywhere near you! They vet every person to make sure you are in the best possible place to do and feel your best!
Accidents and injuries usually come as a result of impatience, lack of warming up, and frustration with yourself. Be Kind to yourself. Ask questions. Ask for help.
Yes; you’re going to work harder than you thought possible. Yes, it’ll hurt (in a good way). So what? Have fun with it. This is a playground and while we’re constantly increasing work capacity, we’re having a blast at the same time. You are going to do things you never thought possible!
Personal Trainers in Northglenn don’t want to see anyone get hurt or develop bad habits. We are going to watch your form and technique and push you to slow down or go faster. We take the time to get to know each and every one of you and your goals, so we can push you to your limits but not in a way that is impossible. Our goal is for you to feel success!
Nutrition is a HUGE part of your journey towards optimal performance, health, and body composition. Not sure where to start? Begin by centering your diet around a variety of high quality proteins, vegetables, fruits, healthy fats, and dense carbs as needed based on your activity levels. Eat meals slowly and minimize mindless snacking, refined/added sugar, and booze. Remember that what you eat should enhance your life. Need more help? Get in touch with Coach Jennifer to talk about how you can individualize your approach. NO MEAL PLANS. If you want a meal plan, google it. There are a million out there. We providing the coaching THAT WORKS to get you your results, faster than any meal plan will get you.
Get Some Sleep
Seriously. This is where you will make your gains. Sleep is like an express train for recovery. Get as much as possible. Otherwise you’re only hurting yourself.
Tell your family and friends. Tell them how you’re getting in the best shape of your life. You’re having fun. You’re doing things you never thought possible. Be proud of this. Shout your bad-assery from the mountaintops.
Introduce yourself. Northglenn Health and Fitness is more than just a gym, it’s a community. We are a family and you can get as involved as you like. Here we hold social events, contests, special course, and toy drives. (COVID restrictions may apply ;))
We sit with you at a minimum every 90 days to review progress and ensure you are getting what you need! You won’t believe the kind of results you’ll see by coming 4 times a week and eating whole foods. All you have to do is talk to us and we’ll take care of the rest.

Excited and a little scared to start tomorrow morning. I appreciate all of Jennifer’s help Saturday and on IG. My stalking got noticed and she reached out to me. I appreciate that because she gave the encouragement to remember that I am my #1 priority.
